http://www.epf.eu/ The campaign for European rail passenger’s rights is starting just as the Gender Balanced Commission or the Atheist Bus initiatives did. As cross-border transport increases, the objective is to organize a “coherent voice for Europe’s rail passengers.” Rail companies already have the means to defend their market positions, but they fail too often to guarantee a good service or to provide adequate products. There is thus a gap to be covered, an interest to be defended, common to all European citizens. The European Passengers’ Federation is still formed by national federation, but it is a first step in the direction required.
